Aim Of The Game:
Take turns answering questions by placing a Gold Ring onto the image cards. To win the points for that ring, all you need is for ANY part of the correct answer to be inside your placed ring. The smaller the ring, the more points it is worth. Answer correctly and you'll add that ring's value to your bank, but a wrong answer means the opposition has a chance to steal the ring. The team that banks the most money takes control of the Final, where there can only be one winner.
Before You Play:
Split into two teams and place the bank card in the middle of the table.
You will need a timer that can count to 15 and 30 seconds, such as phone or kitchen timer. You will also need a coin to determine who plays first.
Cut out the 10 Gold Rings from the plastic card. Give one set of 5 Gold Rings (one of each size) to each team. Cut out the Flip the Floor lifeline tokens and give one to each team.
Collate the image cards into sets of four that make one imageboard. These sets will have one large image on each side. Shuffle the question cards, placing them back in the box ready to start the game. Toss the coin. The team that win the toss play first ('Team A').

Team A will face the first question for 1,000 points using the largest of their 5 Gold Rings. A member of Team B takes on the role of question master and selects a question card and reads which image set is required (e.g 'Human Body', 'Map of Europe', etc.). Once the imageboard has been assembled, the question master reads out the question. If Team A wishes to use their Flip the Floor lifeline, they must say so immediately. If they choose not to use their Flip the Floor lifeline, the 30- second timer is started. Team A have 30 seconds to place the largest of their 5 Gold rings on the imageboard - based on where they think the correct answer is. |
When the 30 second are up, the question master confirms whether or not Team A's Gold Ring covers the correct answer. The grid references have been given to assist the question master in checking the answer. However, being in a correct grid square isn't enough - at least one pixel of the correct answer must clearly be inside the ring in order to count. If Team A's answer is incorrect, Team B can try steal the ring. |
Team B have 15 seconds to move Team A's incorrectly placed ring to where they think the correct answer is located. The question master must remain silent when their team is attempting to steal. When the 15 seconds are up, the question master confirms whether Team B have moved the ring to the correct answer. If they have, Team B steal that ring and place it next to the 1,000 on their side of the bank card. If they fail, that ring is discarded as neither team has banked it. Team B now play a new 1,000 question of their own, with the largest of their 5 Gold Rings. The question master role switches to a member of Team A. |
The game continues in this man with play alternating between t teams. With each new question face, the money goes up and the gets smaller. Each team can use their Flip the lifeline once per game to reveal alternative question. The lifeline be used before the team attempt to answer the question. On hearing the alternative question the team must decide to play the new question or revert back to the original. |
Bank Card:
The main game ends when both teams have answered five questions each (not including steals) and each of their 5 Gold Rings has either been banked or teams should now add up the value of the rings on their side of the bank card. A team will bank between 0 and 10 Gold Rings (up to 5 of their own and u their opponents' if they were able to successfully steal).
The largest ring is worth 1,000, the second largest is worth 2,500, the middle-sized ring is worth 5,000, the second smallest ring is worth 7,500 and the s worth 10,000.
The team with the most money in the bank take control of the Final.
If both teams have the same amount of money at the end of the main game, the team that won the most individual rings will take control of the Final. If it is still tied once individual rings have been counted, then toss a coin to decide which team will take control.
The Final:
The Final consists of one last question to decide the game.
The team with the least money in the bank nominates a question master. The question master selects the next question card in the box, reveals the image needed then reads out the question.
The team with the most money decide whether they want to PLAY the question with the SECOND-LARGEST ring in their set of 5 Gold Rings, or PASS and if opponents to play the final question with the SECOND-SMALLEST ring.
If the team in control decide to PASS, the question master must NOT play in the Final.
The team that face the final question have 30 seconds to place their ring. If they answer correctly, they are the winners. If they fail, the other team win.
