Product Description

Maki stake is a stylish sushi themed card Game for three to six players. Simply collect sets of sushi cards to make your Maki, make sure you're ready to roll with the action cards as they can have major effect on your game. Will you fall foul of the fatal fugu or wasabi burn or will you pass the Buck with the help of the conveyor belt.

Before You Start:

Shuffle the Maki cards and deal give to each player. Players should place their cards face-up in front of them with cards from the same set (cucumber, crab etc.) place on top of each other (segments showing) so that everyone can see how many segments of each type of Maki each player has.

Shuffle the remaining Maki cards, then divide them into ten piles, placed face-down. Add an action card (Seaweed Sadist, Wasabi Burn, etc.) to each pile. Then recombine the ten piles and place the whole stack face-down in the centre of the table. This is the draw pile.

For games with five or six players, we suggest reducing the number of action cards in play to five. The draw pile will be smaller with a greater number of players and the action cards will appear quite frequently if you use all ten.

Take the top card from the draw pile and place it face-up in the centre of the table to start the discard pile.

Decide how many rounds you want to play (ideally an odd number so an outright winner can be identified). A round is completed when a player completes a full Maki stack (5 matching segments). The winner of the game is the player who wins the most rounds.
